'Traders are starting to go under because of LTNs in east Oxford'

Richard Anderson has written a letter suggesting that businesses in east Oxford are 'starting to go under' because of LTNs.

We have news that the government has now withdrawn funding for further LTNs due to damage caused by widespread division.

This division has been caused by some councils’ refusal to listen to residents concerns, favouring a minority over the majority.

Communities have been left permanently divided and isolated.

Here in Oxford, Oxfordshire County Council simply dismissed the vast majority of residents and traders concerns, instead favouring county councillors’ own idealistic ideology as the only way forward!

East Oxford traders and restaurants are losing trade or worse starting to go under!

Oxfordshire County Council has seriously damaged our city, with I fear still yet more ruination high on their twisted agenda with the dreaded bus gates!

I believe Smith & Low in Hollow Way are now seriously losing trade.

It's a wonderful go to shop for electrical parts, cycle sales and parts, nuts bolts and screws.

In fact they stock a multitude of items - the impending bus gate in Hollow Way will sadly drive them out of business! Roll on the next election.

Oxford certainly deserves better with a credible open and more democratic council.
